I picked up these hyacinths from @traderjoes a couple of weeks ago. They were delightful. My entire kitchen smelled of an English garden.

As they withered and eventually ended up discarded, I couldn’t help but wonder how many women are suffering a similar fate. So dramatic...I know.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You see, these blooms were cut so that I could enjoy their beauty. As women, we go through the same thing so that society can enjoy the version of beauty it’s placed upon us. I suppose I’m wondering how I can go about life uncut, if you will. As delicate and lovely as a hyacinth but as uncut by society as possible. Something to ponder. #whateverislovely

One of my favorite go-to beauty looks before I had my last baby 20 months ago was a bold lip color. I LOVE a statement lip. LOVE IT! I can wear red, berry, fuchsia, bright pink, you name it.

So, add a new baby (who needed to be covered in kisses) and mask mandates to the mix and you can see how this empowering beauty trend fell by the wayside for so many of us.

I’m making to conscious effort to bring back the bold lip, at least for me. This makes me feel confident and beautiful and THAT is worth its weight in gold.

We have the most magnificent bougainvillea that arches over our entryway. It’s been thick with blooms for weeks and now, those blooms are swirling around our courtyard in the wind, making the most beautiful mess you ever did see. 😍 Give me all the florals. 🙌🏻

I’m picky. There, I said it! I love exploring and trying new products but I have to be honest and tell you that there are very few that make the cut. I also try to make sure that anything I put on my body is full of better-for-you ingredients and the yucky stuff has been left out.

SO, When @renskincare reached out and offered to send me their new Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30, I did a little happy dance. I already shared about my love for this product on my other account (@katiemcgihon) but GOSH, I just had to spread the word. 😍🙌🏻
No yucky ingredients, it’s light enough to wear daily under my make up and strong enough to keep me protected from the sun. If I were you, I would RUN to @sephora or @renskincare and grab a bottle (or two!) before they sell out. 💃🏼🌞
